The Very First Blog Post

Keshoume Logo

Welcome to Keshoume's first blog post! First off, what does Keshoume mean? "Keshou" means make-up in Japanese and “me” is, well, me in English. Together, it means Make-Up Me! I struggled with many skin sensitivities and hair maintenance all my life. As I grew older certain products just didn't react the same way they used to. I always loved going back to Japan and doing trial-and-errors with products. But it was a struggle getting my hands on them after I came back to the U.S. Buying off websites would take awhile for shipment and it was expensive. Many have approached me about what products I use and my response was always: from Japan. I wanted to change that. That's why I started Keshoume; to introduce Japanese products to the world so that it's easily accessible. But I didn't want to stop there. As mentioned everywhere on the website, I want us all to help each other by being a point of reference and providing feedback, not reviews. So, let's get this rolling!
